March 2019 Winner - Jodie Self Jodie has been consistently supporting her fellow athletes and going above and beyond this season. Not only has she seen herself excel in her own performances but she has been incredibly supportive to her team mates which led them to say: "She works hard and has shown great results", "Hard-working young girl, she’s always striving to be the best she can be. May 2019 Winner - Tilly Monk Tilly is a hard working young Thurrock Harrier athlete who is a superb role model for all members of her training group and Club, Tilly always gives 100% individually and when supporting her group and wider club athletes in training and Club & County competitions. Tilly has improved in all disciplines and now ranking high in Essex U17w Multi Events, Tilly has obtained a total of 14 track & field PBs this season, Tilly is a young lady who is a pleasure to coach & watch improve, a superb team player. Her team mates say: “She deserves it and she’s doing the best in the club”, “Very hardworking and always strives to be the best athlete she can be. She also never gives up even if things aren't working out the way she hoped it will be”, “She works very hard and she’s an amazing athlete”, “She is hard-working”. Tilly should be proud of herself for all of her achievements, now including this award.

June 2019 Winner - Tosin Olajide Tosin strives to be the best he can be and trains very hard to compete for the club. We are proud to have him in the team and hopes he continues to show passion and drive in his throwing events. Sept 2019 Winner Shenaiah Allen-McKenna Age : 15 Shenaiah hasn't been at the club for very long and joined at a later stage than most athletes at the club. Despite this, Shenaiah has improved a lot technically and should be awarded for her hard work and effort. She brings great morale to the club and never fails to put on a smile. Nov 2019 Winner - Tom Lee aged: 14 Tom inspires members of the group to try hard and is someone who never gives up or complains. Tom has improved his personal bests more than once this year and continues to show progression in his training, he will go on to be a role model within his athletics group and deserves this award.
