Eastern Masters Track & Field League 2023

I'd like to share both our male and female Eastern Masters Teams achievements at the highly anticipated final held at the Bedford International Athletic Stadium on Saturday 9th September.

Enduring a day of very high temperatures, the joint effort of our ladies team, in collaboration with Loughton ladies, culminated in a stellar 2nd place finish overall. This accomplishment is even more impressive considering they surpassed many of the larger clubs, historically dominant in the top three positions.

Despite facing unexpected challenges, our men's team displayed unwavering determination, securing a commendable 8th place finish. It was a great achievement in itself for both our men and ladies teams to reach the final of the competition.

A special acknowledgment goes out to Stuart, who, after a night shift, went above and beyond by making the journey to Bedford to officiate. Your dedication is greatly appreciated.Congratulations to all our participants for their performances in the heat!
