Springfield Striders Friday Night 5 June 2023

On Friday 23rd June it was the annual Friday Night 5 mile road race hosted by Springfield Striders.This race is part of the Essex Road Road Running Championships which is held over over six races throughout the year over various distances - marathon, 20M, 10M, half marathon, 10K and 5M. If you finish in the top three overall or at your age group, you received a an Essex medal.Four Thurrock Harrier Vet athletes travelled to the village of Pleshey on Friday evening to take part and three came away with an Essex medal!
